In just a few short years, Giving Tuesday has become a major giving day. After everyone is stuffed with food, armed with gifts, and basking in the glow of discounted tech gadgets comes a day to give back and focus on others. It’s a day to donate to causes you care about, partner with and share about organizations you love to help others hear about all of the good being done all over the world.

Operation Christmas Child’s mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoebox gifts filled with small toys, hygiene items and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They deliver these gift-filled shoeboxes in over 100 countries to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease.

Samaritan’s Purse has collected shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies & hygiene items for children around the world. Since 1993, more than 198 million children in more than 170 countries & territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.⁣
