Thank you for your donations for the month of September! We are thankful for each one of you that gives to the mission to help solve the problems of the world. Since the launch of DollarFund in October 2017, we have decided to rotate and go through each area of needs in the world that we are working to help. This month, your donations will go towards healing the sick.

Sickness is a worldwide issue that many people struggle with. Over 95% of the world has health problems. That’s a lot of people in the world that face some illness or injury. These illnesses range from health issues all over the board.

The sad fact is that many people in the world don’t have the funds or access to the treatment they need. Many people that are sick or unhealthy have access to the proper doctors, facilities, care and treatment that they need to help them. However, at least half of the world’s population is too poor to receive proper health care. 2 billion people worldwide have no access to basic care and surgeries needed.

We are excited to announce that your donations from the month of September are going to help heal the sick as we give to help those children with cancer and their families.

Did you know?

• Childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease among children in the United States.
• Everyday 43 children are diagnosed with cancer
• The average age of diagnosis is 6 years old
• More than 40,000 undergo treatment for cancer each year
• 1 out of 8 children with cancer will not survive

We are not okay with these statistics and we want to work to see these numbers decrease as we help heal the sick. DollarFund is excited to partner with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an amazing organization that works to help children with cancer. 

St, Jude’s has been leading the world in cancer research and treatment for children. Their open sharing platform has made it possible for other global researchers to make much needed strides in treatment and cures. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.

St. Jude is working to find cures. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to 80%. Supporters like you mean the families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. And St. Jude is helping many more kids. St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, which means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.

Because of your heart and your support of DollarFund, you are able to be apart of helping fund research to find a cure to end childhood cancer and you are helping families affected by childhood cancer. We want to see the shocking statistics of childhood cancer decrease, we don’t want any more children and families to be affected by this disease, we want to help heal the sick and see a cure for childhood cancer that helps put an end to amount of children with cancer.
